My paintings occupy the space between tenderness and unease. Through ambiguity, fragmentation and restrained colour, they resist immediate resolution, inviting prolonged engagement with images that continue to shift the longer they are observed. Working from a self-curated archive of over sixty categories of found, institutional and personal imagery, each painting develops through an extended process of selection, juxtaposition and careful reduction.
